EQ CYLINDER HEADS: RACING
When it comes to grass roots racing through the International Motor Contest

Association (IMCA), EngineQuest (EQ) cylinder heads consistently help drivers find the winners circle. In fact, the final 2007 IMCA Stock Car National Points standings saw TEAM EQ place five cars among the top 10 finishers, including National Champion Mike Nichols. TEAM EQ also finished 2007 with five cars in the top 10 in the IMCA Modified National Point standings. Plus, the top three drivers in the EngineQuest IMCA Wild West Modified Tour ran EQ cylinder heads.

So it was no surprise when IMCA announced recently that an EQ small block Chevy cylinder head (part #CH 350I) would be offered as an optional head for the organization’s Northern and Southern Sportmod divisions for 2008. These stock heads include the IMCA logo and a unique serial number so IMCA can track usage in competitions.
IMCA recently changed their rules for 2008 to allow an alternative to the stock GM cast iron head and one that hasn’t been altered and is pre-1970. The EQ head is comprable in flow numbers and performance with similar dyno to multiple GM castings.
These special IMCA cylinder heads are currently availble through EngineQuest.
In addition to being the title sponsor of the IMCA Wild West Modified Tour, EQ is an overall sponsor of IMCA Racing.
