EQ Offers Conversion Rear Main Seal Holders for 1986 to 2001 Chevy’s
Enables engine rebuilders to install a 2-piece rear main seal crankshaft in a 1-piece rear main seal design
(LAS VEGAS, NV) – EngineQuest® (EQ®), the leader in hard-to-find new and reclaimed engine parts, has introduced new conversion rear main seal holders for 1986 to 2001 Chevrolet V8 small block applications. The holders enable engine rebuilders to install a two-piece rear main seal design crankshaft in a one-piece rear main seal design block.
Featuring billet aluminum construction, the conversion rear main seal holders are precision CNC machined. The products are available in either an early style oil pan (EQ product #RSH349), or a late style oil pan (EQ product #RSH350). Locator dowels are included with the holders to prevent rear main seal leaks. EQ offers an optional alignment tool to help complete the installation (EQ product #AT350).
Both products work seamlessly with new aftermarket or OEM crankshafts and are value priced at half the cost of most competitors.
