Lined up 5th in the first heat race and things heated up quickly as the cars in front of me were getting together before we passed the flag stand. Yellow. On the restart I moved up quickly and was in 2nd by the next yellow flag. On the restart I followed the leader and drove in hard on the outside of turn 3. The leader pushed up so I crossed over and into the lead I went. The car was hooked up a little too much and was carrying the LF quite a bit. It was a handful to drive but the harder I drove it, the better it went. It felt great to win that heat race. 

 

 

To quote an old song, "if you ain't in it to win, then get the (heck) out."
