AAEQ Endorses Efforts to Counter Illegal Dumping

Las Vegas metal recycling company provides opportunity for businesses and homeowners to clean up the environment and make money at the same time

(Las Vegas-NV) - AAEQ Manufacturers and Recyclers, one of Nevada's leading scrap metal recycling companies, endorses recent initiatives by state and federal officials to curb illegal dumping in the desert. This includes "Don't Trash Nevada," a new program to help educate the public about the importance of keeping the desert clean.

“With the fast growth of the Las Vegas metro area, we've seen an increase in people driving to the desert to illegally dump their junk," said Stolberg. “We are pleased to support the many efforts by the community to help clean up the desert…and keep it clean."

Stolberg believes individuals and businesses are looking for alternatives on where to dispose of their excess materials. In fact, he says many are not aware of the fact that disposing of their excess scrap metal is not only environmentally responsible, it can also be profitable.

"Until our company started buying scrap metal in 2004, there were limited opportunities on where to take recyclable scrap metal in the Las Vegas metro area," said Stolberg. "AAEQ's buyers are paying top dollar for these valuable scrap materials and would like to build long-term relationships with area residents and businesses.”

In addition to buying materials in the metro area, AAEQ has buyers available within a 200 mile radius to purchase materials. AAEQ purchases aluminum, brass, cast iron, copper or stainless steel scrap metal. In addition, they will also purchase engines, transmissions, wheels (steel and aluminum) or radiators as well as whole vehicles or construction equipment, running or not. AAEQ can also properly recycle cardboard and aluminum cans. With qualified orders, AAEQ will pick up these materials at a business location, pay the owner for them and haul them away.
