EngineQuest® (EQ®) Will Introduce Two New Cylinder Heads
During Upcoming AAPEX/SEMA Shows

(Las Vegas, NV) -- EngineQuest® (EQ®), a leading supplier of stock and performance cylinder heads and engine components, will introduce two new cylinder heads during the 2009 AAPEX and SEMA Shows in Las Vegas.
EQ will present its first performance aluminum cylinder head that will fit any small block Chevy engine and can help achieve up to 500 horsepower right out of the box. This new replacement head, EQ Part #AC200BS, is affordably priced and comes bare or assembled, ready to install to the drive train with no porting or polishing needed.
Also new to AAPEX/SEMA is EQ’s Vortec Hybrid head with a heat riser. This cylinder head is based off of the EQ Vortec cylinder head that was featured in the popular “Budget Sledgehammer” build in Popular Hot Rodding magazine which produced 447 HP for under $3,500. This new marine, stock or performance head will work on any small block Chevy application and is the only head of its kind on the market. EQ Part #CH350G features ’87-’95 intake bolt pattern with center bolt valve cover mounting holes.
EQ Part #CH350H is available in the ’69-’85 intake bolt pattern with perimeter valve cover mounting holes. Developed for maximum power with minimum effort, this new EQ cylinder head is available with 2.02” intake valves, 1.60” exhaust valves, 197cc intake runner, 65cc combustion chamber and is designed for a straight plug setup. EQ’s AC200BS cylinder head features Phosphor bronze guides and a 3 angle valve job and is ideal for racers running 350/383 cid engines. EQ’s AC200BS has been machined for various rocker configurations to provide engine builders with a multitude of options.
The Vortec Hybrid heads are Australian manufactured and feature a thicker .4375 deck for greater strength, hardened DuraBond exhaust seats for improved durability. Both the CH350G and H should be used in pairs when replacing OE heads and are available bare or assembled.
Visit AAEQ during Industry Week in Las Vegas at SEMA Booth #24529 and AAPEX Booth #4067 and sign-up for the chance to win a set of heads. The winner will have the chance to choose from among the two new heads being featured.
